The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
They weren't out of context, they were just wrong. But I won't argue any
more. For the sake of bandwidth I'll ignore your further comments on EGL
until you take the time to learn the language.
Joe, you are missing the point of where this thread started. I asked a very
legitimate question based on my lack of EGL knowledge.
To re-iterate:
<Aaron> Does EGL come with paging out of the box?
<Joe> EGL allows direct SQL access to the database and doesn't require the
extra layer of ORM. You can easily write your own paging logic and
encapsulate it in a library routine, the same way you would with RPG or
COBOL.
Being that offering a strictly JSF solution may not help Tim in this case
(what I offered and you shot down), what would be the best way to implement
this in EGL? I can see a lot of people needing this after the first week of
using EGL.
