I use BCD's Nexus product which is a PORTAL. With it I have Dashboard
and Key indicators options that launch in different portlets.

With their new Clover product (I just got it and created one Graph !
Very easy). I will add Graph links to the WebSmart existing
applications and/or just launch the graphs in their own portles. All
of this is driven by user base security "courtesy of their Nexus tool".

Also in reference to someone else's list of top 10 tools I must say that
a list is just a list based on personal preferences and experiences.
Who ever is looking for the tool to create Web based apps in i5/OS needs
to review them and get the best FOR YOU. In my list WebSmart is NUMBER
ONE.

Also, as far a proprietary language........................well so are
most of the tools that people use with Msoft but I do no hear anyone
pointing that out. !

.....this is just my opinion. But, then again I may be wrong!

Websmart has other tools that work together with Websmart to generate
realtime dashboards. I have not implemented this yet, but am beginning
to
evaluate for a customer. I imagine any tool could be used to make a
dashboard, but this product has a framework and prebuilt functions to do

this.
