Hi Justin,

A common error in 9.8 was visiting the Manage Licenses dialog. The apply license would switch the type to Flex licensing.

Go back in and de-select the Flex licensing option, then the perm license should show up.

We did ask the Licensing to fix this issue for 9.9.

If that doesn't help, please contact IBM support for further assistance.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Installed RDi license-Still shows trial

I'm helping another dev get RDi 9.8 running on his new PC. We installed the activation kit, but RDi keeps giving the trial pop-up on startup.

We tried to install the activation kit again, but it says it's already installed.
The "already installed" link on Available Software shows it as installed.
We deleted the app folder, went through the steps again, but it still shows the trial version.

On the first launch of RDi, we got a Windows Firewall popup, but I'm not sure if that makes a difference.

Any suggestions on how to get RDi to accept the license?

Thanks
