The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

I agree with you Jason. I use Snippets multiple times per day. If they are
gone, I will not be updating to 9.8 anytime soon.
There are other "features" of RDi that I wonder how they are tested, but
since RDi is so much better than PDM, I just live with it. But there is
definite room for improvement.

I agree with you that it may not have been intentional, (removed from
base Eclipse) but if that is the case then how was it not caught during
testing? Daniel and myself are not the only two people in the world
using Snippets. So, that brings into question how is the Rational team
even testing? Do actual customers get to use the product during it's
beta phase, or do they just wing a ding it?
