Hi All,
I released iSphere 5.2.9.r, which fixes the compatibility issue between the iSphere Compare Filsters plug-in and RDi 9.8.
I also confirm, that using "
http://master.dl.sourceforge.net/project/*" as the update site works for the following plug-ins:
* iRPGUnit
* iSphere
* JCRCMDS
* Rapid Fire
The update sites of these plug-ins would be:
http://master.dl.sourceforge.net/project/irpgunit/eclipse/rdi8.0/
http://master.dl.sourceforge.net/project/isphere/eclipse/rdi8.0/
http://master.dl.sourceforge.net/project/jcrcmds/eclipse/rdi8.0/
http://master.dl.sourceforge.net/project/rapid-fire/eclipse/rdi8.0/
But I noticed several read-timouts with that update sites so that it took me 1-3 attempts to get a plug-in installed. So it might be easier and less painful to use the zipped update sites instead. For example, you could download the update site zip file and extract it to a local folder or to a folder on a server and install the plug-in from that folder. This way you had a stable name for the update site that your colleagues could use, too.
Yes. It was great if I could use another update server for the plug-ins.
Regards,
Thomas.

Re: EVFF6019 error: I changed the compile to specify a non-QTEMP TOSRCFILE() and the error is no longer displayed.

Hi All,
Currently, we are seeing a few issues related to compiling source:
* sometimes the compile options in the menu are doubled. All IBM commands and all custom commands listed twice. A restart fixes the issue. On a related note, it would be great if we could remove the default compile entries - we only use our source control system's compile commands.
* we use a custom compile command, and it will only return the error list when compiles happen in batch. Compile works fine, but no error list. The custom compile updates the LDA with the location of the EVFEVENT file - maybe for interactive it needs to update something else?
* we are getting a new popup error after each compile saying the errors could not be inserted into the original source:
EVFF6019 - Specify a TOSRCFILE parameter on the compile command to insert the error messages into the temporary member generated by the SQL precompiler.
Our compile default for TOSRCFILE is QTEMP/*CALC, which worked fine at 9.6 but seems may need to be changed for 9.8?
Any insights would be appreciated,
Thanks,
David
