I'm going to chalk this one up to the fact that certain sections of the help documents are only updated at operating system level release, and not at TR updates.

Darren,

I always do the F1=Help, and then goto the on-line RPG-Reference manual. And then navigate to %BIF sections. And then scroll down to %LIST and find it. And yes, that worked for me.

I copied the shortcut and got this:
http://127.0.0.1:57557/help/topic/com.ibm.etools.iseries.ilerpg.ref.f1.doc/topics/bblist.htm?cp=4_0_6_2_35

Ken,

If you fire up Help Contents and navigate to the following location, do you see "%list"?

Rational Developer for i > Reference > Language reference > IBM i programming information > High-level languages > ILE RPG > Language Reference > ILE RPG Reference > Operations, Expressions, and Functions

Darren,

I think there is setting in RDI, where you can specify to get the latest help on the web. Rather than offline cache, which is FASTER. I do not mind waiting a few extra seconds to get the most current updated manuals.

Darren,

Did you update your RDI to 9.6.0.9, or are you using an older version of RDI?

For me it works on RDI 9.6.0.9, so wondering if you have the same version installed?

You are correct. I can search the base help for %list and I found it. I and my coworkers usually look for BIF functions, doing the following. With an RPG member open, select Source, ILE RPG Help, Built in functions. That section looks like it hasn't been updated yet.
