Yes, he is using SEP. I will confirm that he is able to do regular SEP, before trying Code Coverage.

Are they using SEP for code coverage? What happens when they try to
invoke Code Coverage
Beside switching the SEP mode, there is no special mode to turn on Code
Coverage.
