Yup, looks like my co-worker is going through all my previous pain. I told him to reboot, but that is 15 minutes with slow spinning hard-drives. Which is a lot of time.

I requested that he reboot. I reboot windows 10 every day.

LPEX seems ROCK SOLID, if you know how to type. <grin>He went back to SEU. Because he didn't want to forget how to use it. Huh? <LOL>

My biggest pain with RDI is Debug, it tends not to work "occasionally". Usually reboot RDI and /or clearing the jobs in QUSRWRK normally works. My co-workers think I have a "magic wand" to fix RDI. <LOL>
Sadly, I do not. Reboot RDI, clear cache, kill jobs in QUSRWRK, Create new workspace. I am used to that. As long as I get a way to get my beloved RDI to work!. <Joy Joy>

But, my Microsoft Boss is once again pushing for us to use Code Coverage. Great at find missing code testing. Also find dead code that is never executed. It is great tool!

PS. My co-worker open up a case with IBM. That is why we pay for support. I do not have all the "RDI answers". Although, all my co-workers think I do. <LOL>
I already show him how to create a new workspace and do Export/Import.

     SEP Debug does not work for my co-worker. WE have tried the
following:
     1.) Start Work space with -clean
     2.) create brand new workspace
     3.) End the user's jobs in QUSRWRK

     Trying to add the SEP, we get this message:

     "Server: CPF7102 Unable to add breakpoint or trace"

     Shucks! How do we resolve?

     Should I have him open an IBM PMR case, and attach the workspace &
     Error-Log? Would that help?

     I forgot about that batch/Interactive option. His original program,

     Hi Ken,

     If your team mates can debug, they should be able to use Code
Coverage.

     So have them run debug first. If that works, have them change to
Code
     Coverage Mode to run.

     Have them run from a *PGM object, doing the Code Coverage (Prompt)
->
     Batch.

     Ensure they have the [x] Update production files checked (if
applicable)
     and ensure they have created their source for *DEBUG.

     It may help to see if you can Debug/Code Coverage their programs
first.

     If not, have them look at the Error List.

     The first place to look is to see if there are some programs
failing to
     run in a *MSGW state on your system. It may be they had program
erros
     that caused the Debug server to end in Message Wait State. Any
queued
     after that will appear to not run, but will run once the batch
queue is
     cleared.

     Hope this helps.
