Like Alan, this usually is not a problem for me.

But I looked in RSE, and if you right-click on a connection or one of the components, such as "Objects" or "Commands" have options like "Clear passwords", "Clear password", or "Change password" - I don't know exactly what each does, but the Help for RDi should have more information, too.

Hi Josée
I change ALL my passwords on the first business day of the month
On the iSeries, I use the command CHGPWD
Then, when I sign onto RDi, it asks me for the new password, which I supply
No problems

Subject: [EXTERNAL] [WDSCI-L] Changing password

I changed my password this morning before starting RDI. When I started RDI the popup to change my password was just hanging there.

I changed my password back to the original version in green screen , and restarted rdi, no problem. I was trying to find where to manually change my password within RDI, found it in Remote Systems/passwords, but, this also did not work.

I am at 9.6.0.8 version

Anyone else has had this problem?

Josée
