There is nothing in Default or emacs for alt-r.

Hi Robert,

Did you also look for alt-r key bindings? (And look if the Scheme is
Default or emacs).

For plugins I have iSphere, Rocket Aldon LMi.

The bindings only show the two you mentioned.

Thanks,

Rob

Hi Robert,

Have you added a new plugin recently? IE if alt-r goes to the File
menu, perhaps a plugin contributor has added an Alt-R key binding.

You can check the bindings by going to preferences and typing key and
going to General -> Keys. Once at this page, type a-r in the top box
of the Keys page and you should only see them bound to Alt+R for
LPEX/eclipse and LPEX/lpex. If there are more than those, check with
the plugin vendor about how to Unbind them.

Steve, I checked LPEX Editor -> Block and it was stream. I changed
it to rectangle, clicked apply and Ok and tried Alt-R. Nothing
changed, the File menu was still highlighted.
I changed LPEX Editor -> Block back to stream (as you suggested),
clicked apply and Ok and tried Alt-R. Nothing changed, the File menu
was still highlighted.

I also created a new workspace from scratch and opened a member. I
tried Alt-R and still only the File menu option was highlighted.

Any additional thoughts?

Thanks,

Rob

Hi Robert,

I just tested in the latest driver as well and the Alt-R works for me.

Check your preference for LPEX Editor -> Block -> stream.

When I change it to element, I see the behavior you're describing.

Thanks for the confirmation John.

Ken, I tried Alt-U but it doesn't make it work. But I think I was
wrong when I said nothing happens when I press Alt-R. I just
notices the the File menu is now highlighted as if I had pressed Alt-F.

I can work with the Alt-E,E,R but I like my Alt-R.

Rob,

I do Alt+U (Unselect) before using the Alt+R=Rectangle select.
That works for me...

Hi All,

Anyone seen this or know what I need to do to fix this?
When I press Alt-R to select a rectangle nothing happens (that I
can tell). But if I enter Alt-E,E,R I can select the rectangle.

I'm on Version: 9.6.0.7

Thanks,

Rob
