FWIW it appears that this issue is only apparent on Windows 10. To get
around it maybe just right-click on the desired name and select the desired
action as if the double-click shortcut was not enabled.

Hi Ken,
That is interesting. Do you both have the same set of plugins installed
with RDI? Plugins can trap events from editors changing their behaviour,
though in this case I'm not sure what events would be emitted from the
Debug Editor.
There is obviously something going on in your environment making it
different from normal.

Just debugged it at my co-worker's desk, and it did not work for him
either...
My windows 10 version: Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.15063]
My co-workers version: Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.17134.590]
We are both on Rdi 9.6.0.5, latest version. And it works not work for
either of us... <puzzling>
