Holy crap Stuart!

I did this only:

1. COPY your connection to a new name.
2. CHANGE the new connection to the address you want.

And all the filter pools show up in the new connection. Did nothing else.

closely at the name it resolves to.

I've freely switched between IP, DNS short name and DNS Long name all
simply using properties without losing any filters.

How?

I exported, made the properties changes on the existing connection,
then imported. Everything is back as it was as if I had done

nothing.

Right where I started.

All,

I connect to a single system via IP address. I decided I want to
connect to that system via a DNS entry instead.

I right-clicked that system, selected properties, and proceeded to
change it to the DNS entry. After reentering my password, I had
lost all the filters, etc I had set up. Thankfully I had made a
copy of the

workspace.

How can I make that change to the remote system without losing

everything?

Or make a full copy (copy/paste did not do it)?
