Buck,

Good tip! I tried that, and that did not work.

Love that tip of F12! I use that all the time! I use the ctrl+F6 often too. Now I need to start using the ctrl+f7 too! :) I was wondering about that!

But, nothing I did would activate the editor, or any other "views".

Sadly, the F12 activated the "New" menu: Project.../ Example... / Other...

With my mouse everything became "Un-clickable"...

PS. Hopefully, IBM will find something in my error log and/or workspace to prevent these type of errors from happening to others...

It is like my mouse is turned off in RDI only.
I realise you've already moved on, but thought I'd share my unhealthy obsession with using the keyboard to navigate RDi :-)

Ctrl-F6 will move between editor panes.
Ctrl-F7 will move between views (Outline, RSE, Editor, etc).
Ctrl-Shift-Fn will go the other direction.
Ctrl-Fn and then keep holding Ctrl to get a menu that the cursor keys can navigate.

F12 will (mostly) return you to the editor pane.
