Buck,

Thanks, I did clear the cache after the last time, before restarting RDI....

My program did compile, but no error listing. It show an empty Error listing, even though I have selected to show every stinking error!

Now doing the famous Create a new workspace, and trying to reset all my preferences..

The export/import preference seems to work good for about 90%, but it is NOT 100%

Oh well, I hope to GOD that a new workspace will fix this!!!

Company antivirus, Norton. So far, my problem has only been the virus called "RDI"... <frown>

Company run antivirus on our laptops whenever they like, and normally do it every 24-hours. Usually at 12:00 Noon...

Using RDI 9.5.1.2 and unable to compile a program.

I have restarted several times with the "-clean" options as that is the ONLY way I start RDI 9.5.1.2. Due to various Bug issues...

Just try rebooting my computer, and I am still unable to compile code... WTF...

Is there any help to fix this???????????????????? Where do I go from here????

I think this is where I'd start:

!ENTRY org.eclipse.rse.ui 4 0 2017-07-03 13:05:20.607 !MESSAGE Could
not read cache file:
C:\Users\kkillian\IBM\rationalsdp\workspace_9512\.metadata\.plugins\co
m.ibm.etools.iseries.subsystems.qsys\cache\KKILLIAN.Development\object
s\XPSSRC\QRPGLESRC.FILE\listings.cache

Does this listings.cache file exist?
Did something set it to read-only?
Check the permissions?
Wondering (as always) about antivirus. It does weird things here sometimes.

If push comes to shove, delete it.

If you have time call it in. I suspect a new workspace will make it go away. Export your current settings before switching. :-(
