Hi,

Trying to convince a "NEWBIE" use/try to RDI 9.5.1. A very season/Experience RPGLE Developer, whom just has not used RDI a lot previously. Does have minimal exposure.

I am trying to show him the path to RDI enlightenment.

All the "Newbies" that I show "shortcut keys", don't like it. Too much to remember or digest. At least in the beginning.
Print out my favorite RSE shortcuts already! http://systemideveloper.com/downloadRSEShortcuts.html

So, I try to show the right-click on the source to navigate, to take away their "initial fear of RDI"....

Sadly, I cannot seem to find the right-click menu options for ALT+S (split) and/or Alt+J(Join)....

Did IBM wipe out the context menu items again?

Hopefully, I am just missing it...

Very frustration to show newbies, and just have to say it is "buggy" all the time...
<Big Frown>

Should I open a PMR on this?

-Ken Killian-
Senior IBM i Developer using Rational Developer for I RDI 9.5.1
Running IBM I, that supports: Java, PHP, Ruby/Ruby on Rails, Python, Node JS, RPGLE
