Shucks!
Maybe I misunderstand this option... if I type in "%" for %BIF, it works instantly!
But, I thought it would work for other code assist like fields, op-code, etc...
Prompt when these characters are inserted: "%." Seems to be the default...
I guess I could put in the whole alphabet! <LOL>
WOW! It does work!!!! VERY COOL!!!!

Subject: [WDSCI-L] RDI 9.5.1 --> Automatic Content Assist
Hi,
Using RDI 9.5.1 and I have turned on Automatic Content Assist, and it still a MANUAL process...
Has anybody gotten this work?
https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/rfe/execute?use_case=viewRfe&CR_ID=23938
By Automatic, I expect it pop-up automatically. Like it does with Java coding. I changed the default from 500 to 100. I assume that is milliseconds....
I still have to evoke manually "code-Assist" by Ctrl+spacebar....
Maybe I misunderstanding this...
PS. Status says "Delivered", so I have the option in Preference, but it does NOT work. Does that count as "Delivered"????????????
