You can make the default "Open with" to be the LPEX editor. So that
you can use double click.
Window -> Preferences
General -> Editors -> Files Associations
Find and select "*.txt" in File types
In Associated Editors, highlight Basic LPEX
Click Default button.
Click Ok button
