As Robert points out, RAD is not required for RDPi. They will work together, and having either RAD or RBD allows you to install the IBM i Web Service and Java Tools components. But for all green screen development, RDPi is a complete standalone tool.

Nice article, Joe! Is RAD a prerequisite for installing RDPi? Some of our
developers are not using Eclipse; they are just green-screeners.
