Also, just as a point of reference so you know where I'm coming from in
terms of knowledge, it's been several years since I paid any atttention to
the WDSC/RAD discussions. It was just so frustrating to fail at convincing
managers to invest in modern development tools, that I finally just put it
out of my mind.
What we are looking for is a client tool to download source from the i,
then edit, compile, debug said source,
I seem to remember that WDSC was included in the WDS license at some point
long ago. Then RAD was deemed the replacement, albeit at a very high cost
relative to WDSC.
Are there any articles online that explain the current state of client-side
development on the i, targeted at green-screen users?
