The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
Also, in the RSE tree view, you can copy a source member and paste it into a
source file, either through the context (right click) menus or by
drag-and-drop. Note that you HAVE to drop it on a source file; dropping it
onto a member or a filter just gives you an error message. This saves the
dreaded Save As dialog drill-down, but you have to have the source file
showing, either by setting a filter or through a drill-down from one of the
Work Withs.

Subject: Re: [WDSCI-L] Transfering Objects & Source From between Systems
I do what Robin describes all the time (File / Save As / Choose different
system etc.). It works great!
You just need a connection defined to each system involved in a transfer.
If the Save As dialog was enhanced to allow one to key the system,
library, source file, and member name, instead of having to drill down to
make the system, library, and source file selections, the dialog would
complete faster and it would be a nice improvement /wink IBM.
