The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

I do what Robin describes all the time (File / Save As / Choose different system etc.). It works great!
You just need a connection defined to each system involved in a transfer.
If the Save As dialog was enhanced to allow one to key the system, library, source file, and member name, instead of having to drill down to make the system, library, and source file selections, the dialog would complete faster and it would be a nice improvement /wink IBM.

Open the member you want to move
File | Save As
In the save as dialog you can change the system/library.
Caveat: Make sure the source file you're saving into is as long or
longer than the original.

How do you transfer Objects and Source Codes between different Remote
System Connections with RSE? I normally use a SAVEFILE and FTP in a 5250
session. I copied an object from my production side and tried to paste
it in a library on the development side, I received a message saying it
could not do the transfer.
I'm pretty sure that's normal behavior.
Transferring objects between systems is non-trivial (savf & ftp), so it's going to be hard for RDI to do.
Might be something a plug-in could do though.
