Would be an interesting test to run: Start 10,000 jobs and time it. Start
10,000 threads and time it.
One of the challenges facing modern webservers is Ajax where lots and
lots of open connections must be maintained without blowing the roof on
resource usage for each open connection.
The Jetty web container solves this with "continuations" which use
non-blocking IO to do so.
Would this suggestion work well in such a scenario with thousand of Ajax
users?
