From my perspective, there are two negative aspects of this compare
function. Firstly, it is a PITA to browse to the comparison target
repeatedly. Secondly, it presents the differences in "stacked" format
(ala diff or CMPPFM), but distinguishes adds/deletes by colours instead
of front-of-line characters. Every time I use it I have to think a bit
about which colour means which, but that maybe that is a matter of a
PEBKAC and this won't be a problem for others.
Thanks Adam, I have pretty much the same opinion. But when I'm in "I don't
want to get out of WDSC" mode, it's better than nothing.
