And I haven't done any yet, Aaron, but as you know I'm kind of old school,
and I don't need a lot of bells and whistles. The requests on this list,
for example, have gone far past the stage of requirements or bug fixes and
well into the productivity enhancements side of things.

What I do like is that people seem to be willing to ask for changes to WDSC
even though those same people never once thought to ask for a modification
to SEU or PDM.

In fact, what I'd love to see is a list of the top 20 or 30 enhancements
with budget amounts, and then let us tell IBM what we really need like in
the old RPG enhancements days.

Joe

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Extending WDSC / Eclipse (was: WDSC vs SEU)

Speaking as someone who HAS built WDSC plug-in's, I can attest to the
fact that it is not 'easy'.

Eclipse is very extensible framework ... and very nice to work with in
many respects ... but not, at least in my opinion, for the faint of heart.
