My employer did a mass conversion (more than 15,000 programs) sometime before I was hired in '04. Everyone seems to agree that it was pretty painless and well worth it. I know I'm happy with it, but I missed all the work so I may be biased.

Thanks!  That would be my problem.  Most of our legacy code is still RPG
III.  All new dev is in ILE, so it should not be too much of a problem
moving forward.  In the cases where I really need it, I can always open
that member in CODE.
