Re: Updates to Version 7.0 of WDSc AE

The update it was attempting to install was to the Eclipse Runtime, which I would assume would also need to be updated outside of the Installation manager. Or, are you saying that Eclipse Runtime updates would be handled by the Installation Manager as well?
Are you also saying that the error was "normal"? That is, the folder is designed to be read only? If so, you will need a mechanism to update the Eclipse Runtime contained within it, yes? It appears that the current Eclipse Software Update mechanism will not work if the folder is flagged as read only.
