OK. Read only it is! So why did the installer flag it as read only? (I am admin on this XP box so that isn't it) And, will there be a downside to the changing it back to read/write?

I took the option to check for updates on my newly installed WDSc AE IDE and after checking for updates and locating one, I got a curious error:

"You cannot install to the site "file:/C:/Program files/IBM/SDP70Shared/". It is considered non updatable."

Hmmm. Run the update, find the update and then tell me it's non updateable? Curious......
