The compare and merge stuff in the SoftLanding RSE plugins are outstanding.
Perhaps they would serve as a nice replacement for your PDM option 55 use.

For usefulness, I know nothing better than opt 55 
in PDM - merge source - you get the normal SEU 
split screen with candidate changes - no one else 
does this that I know of, wish it were as good in 
WDSC. I find the compare tools of WDSC to be
