I don't know if you can merge. When I've done a "merge" with the Code compare, I do what I call Super Careful Mode. I handle differences a statement at a time until done.

Can you merge changes in the CODE compare? That is the beauty of the one in SEU (opt 55 of PDM) - you have a selective merge. None of this "do the merge and give you a report of the damages" kind of thing.

FWIW, the compare in the CODE editor is light-years ahead.  That's what I
use all the time.
