For scenario #2 I think you can:

Expand "iSeries Jobs"-->"My Active Jobs" in RSE.

Find the job and expand it.

Right click and select debug as-->iSeries job

Subject: Re: [WDSCI-L] Debugger question

Xuan,
Two scenarios:
1) Within WDSC, I select a program that I'm working with and
"set service
entry point", then I call the program, the debugger starts
within WDSC.

2)In the other scenario, a program is running in batch, I
have no service
entry points set, and now an unhandled exception occurs, the program
errors. On the green screen, I would "strsrvjob", then
"strdbg" for the
program in error. The green screen debugger is now invoked
at the exact
line of my program error.
I am trying to find out how I can invoke the debugger within
WDSC for this
same scenario, where a program is already running, an error
occurs, and no
SEP has been set.
