Doug, When the debugger starts, right click the variable and select "monitor expression". You should have a monitor displayed that shows the variables with it's value. I rarely need an "eval" statement with the use of WDSC debugger. I have a "Variables" window open but it never has the variables in it that I want and sometimes I want to see the contents of a field that is not showing in the debug window. I sometimes use the green screen debugger just so that I can do this.
