Hi Ron, This is a good point and has been thought through for RSE. In the case of iSeries members, its a non-issue, because members are locked when opened for edit. In the case of IFS files (or other systems which do not support locking), you should receive what we call "a save conflict dialog". It tells you the following: This file has been changed on the remote system since it was opened. You then have the following choices: 1. Replace editor with contents of remote file. Pending changes will be lost. 2. Overwrite the remote file 3. Save the contents of the editor to a different remote file . Personally I would recommend #3 and then do a compare. Its also good to note that you may see this dialog when saving an iSeries member if you modify a member you left open after closing and restarting the workbench (locks are not re-established when you reopen the workbench) Hope this helps!
