The stuff you mentioned is all in the workspace. The configuration folder is mainly an Eclipse internal thing. Eclipse caches a lot of information about your install to improve the startup performance. Occasionally it gets out of sorts and deleting it is an easy way to force it to rebuild all of its cache. If you follow the steps I outlined in this message: http://archive.midrange.com/wdsci-l/200604/msg00061.html You accomplish the same goal as deleting the folder while preserving the few bits of info that might be worth preserving.
