?vi on any LPEX command line for additional information. [n]>> and [n]<< to indent and unindent in vi seem to work for me.I'll take a look at the 'enter' key. It's not supposed to go back to command mode? I confess I'm not a vi expert (quite the opposite :-)).

I like to use it once in a while when I'm angry with my mouse (and arrow keys), but auto indent seems to be broken. Then again, it also goes back to command mode when one hits 'enter' to end a line.
