Re: New to this.

Don't expect to see anything in the main editing view at that point.
When you create a filter, it just adds a new icon below the one you
clicked to open the create filter dialog.  It should have the name of
the filter you created.

You can expand the new filter, then double click any members you find in
it. 
Or you can right click it, and select "show in table" if you want to see
the descriptions of the members like you do in WRKMBRPDM.
