I think the point of the "refresh pack" is that we have all been bitching (rightfully so) that we install WDSC 6.0 and then have to download more than 1.2 GB of updates (for every client). So the "refresh pack" is just a new set of CD's where all of the latest updates are already applied. The initial release of WDSC 6.0 got bit by some bad timing. Soon after the CD's were made and shipped the undelying Rational piece issued a major update which caused this big download. If you did not have WDSC 6 already installed, I am sure the refresh pack CD's will just do a full install.
