Updater and proxy (httpProxy.properties file) -- WDSCI-L

I just installed v6 and went to run the updater. I created the 
httpProxy.properties file with my proxy and port, but I still get that the 
urls are not found. One thing is that I don't get a prompt to enter my 
user id and password for the proxy. Any suggestions?
