Hi,
I was talking to our system administrator about ordering 5.1.2.4. She
looked in the IBM web site and said she needs an 'SF' number for preventive
planning service pack. I googled WebSphere 5.1.2.4 and it looks like it has
fixes, not the base. It told me to go to the work bench, help, software
updates, new updates. The only thing I have in help in RSE - Development
Studio Client is Welcome, Help Contents, Feedback and about.
I found the WebSphere Application Server Administrator Roadmap at
IBM. It looks like there are several redbooks on this. Since we haven't
really used V4, Can we just install the new version and not go through the
migration? I found out we will be going to OS 5.3 this fall. Would it be
better to just use the 4.0 until then?
Excuse me for being so needy, but if someone could help me figure out
what to order, I would appreciate it. The more I look at, the more confused
I am getting. Thanks!

Paperwork is like kudzu. Both need to be pruned regularly. Usually, a
flamethrower is overkill. Usually.
