Rob,

Have you checked the job description you are using for compiles with WDSc?  I 
always get job logs with WDSc compiles if they fail.  It sounds like your job 
description is set to not create a job log.

library y not created.  I can do a WRKSPLF and find the compile listing.

There is NO JOBLOG!  The compile listing was found in job:
676551/ROB/QPRTJOB.  And with WRKSPLF.  But there just isn't any joblog.

Granted, I could do a compile via 5250 to find out what is wrong, but I
shouldn't have to.
