Hi Jerome,

Could you tell me a bit more about the debugger problems that you are
having.
If I understand your note correctly, you are using WDSC 5.1.2 connecting to
a V4R5 system.

How do you start the debugger?

Thanks,
Vadim.

Hello,

Yes, I confirm that this is possible, we do it everyday and it works
fine. Just make sure you have the latest PTF level. You can edit, check
syntax, run, and debug any kind of source file on an iSeries in V4R5M0.

The only issue we have does not seem to be related to the OS400 version.
When we use the debugger, we very often have a "communication failure"
message, which completly crashes the TCP/IP stack of the workstation.
There is no other solution but rebooting the workstation.

This happens on a PC with Windows XP SP2, even if the firewall is
deactivated. Works fine on a W2K PC.

If someone has the same issue, any advice is welcome.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] WDSc 5.1.2 with an iSeries on V4R5M0?

Is it possible to use WDSc 5.1.2 to access code (RPG, DDS, etc) on an
iSeries box on V4R5M0??

We are not looking to do anything fancy just be able to modify the code
via WDSc?
