Hi Robin,

I am assuming you use Preferences dialog in WDSC in order to set 'Update
Production Files'
option on. I wonder if you could bring up the Launch Configurations dialog
(down arrow on the
but toolbar button, and select 'Debug...'). Then create a new 'Debug
iSeries Job' launch configuration
checking Update Production Files box there.

Please let me know if that solves the problem.

By the way, what release of WDSC are you using, and what release of OS/400?

Hi,
I tried to debug an iSeries job which update the production file. I setup
my iSeries debug preference as always Update production files. However, I
always get an error CPF4203 from the job I tried debugging, which says
Member  cannot be opened while UPDPROD(*NO).
It dose not make any sense to me. Did I miss something? Any help is
greatly appreciated.
