One thing I've noticed on the editor is that I can highlight several lines 
but I may not be able to delete them.  But if I backup one space and don't 
try to delete the last character from the last row selected it will work. 
Then I can delete that last character in a separate action.  Drives me 
nuts.

Ctrl+Delete truncates the line from the cursor to the end.
Ctrl+Backspace deletes an entire line.
