This morning I spent over an hour trying to do something that took 10 seconds on a green screen. A successful compile. I finally gave up in frustration. The verifier for the source member gives me RNF0401 - an error occurred during communication with the host. The RSE found the source member and saved it. So why can't it verify it? I manually verify the connection and then verify my source again and then I get RNF2120 - External descriptions not found? The library list is correct. Also, why do I have to refresh my view every time I start RSE? In the Preferences, Remote Systems, iSeries, under Cache I have checked the box to Disable Caching. Under Connection, the radio button for Connection is selected (with the correct IP address). Under iSeries Projects, Build & Compile the days to keep temporary files on system is 1. Anyone have any comments? V5R2 and all ptf's are current & verify connection shows everything is okay.
