I think the differences have always been overstated. They are not that different, I do not see any reason that Home should not be supported. Home does not include the VPN client, but as others have pointed out, you should usually use the client from your vendor. It also does not include some of the more obscure networking protocols, like DLC/SNA. I do not understand why IBM includes Home with so many of its ThinkPads and other PC's. Clearly these are aimed at business people, why can't they just include Pro?
