Thanks Scott for your explanation, let me add my 5 cents to this discussion, for us here in Toronto it is a resource question, we have a certain amount of resource, and we have to decide where do we spend this resource. For us supporting a platform means testing the product on that platform and that costs resource even with automated testcases. Then it becomes a question of how important is the platform in our marketplace does it make sense to spend resource there and not implement a new feature. That is one of the reasons I sometimes run mini surveys to gage how many people are on which platform so we know when we can drop a platform from our supported list. Certainly we also look at how Microsoft positions the platform and how we expect our products to be used on these.
