Why not create your workspaces to a mapped drive, then use the network
backup facilities to save your data.  The IFS would be an ideal location, in
the users /home/username folder.  Then you can add these directories to your
regular backups on the iSeries.

Does anyone bother to save their workspace(s) on a regular basis, (e.g. 
CD-RW)?
