Our network support crew have recently installed new versions of McAfee
Virus Scan (Ver. 7.1.0) that has slowed WDSCi to a crawl. It appears that
every jar or exe is being scanned before it can execute, and all network
traffic is scanned as well.

We have had a little success with setting WDSCi as a "low risk" application,
and telling McAfee to not scan the directories where this application
reside, but we're still getting clobbered by the scanner on the TCP/IP data
streams. Is this as good as I can get it? It's barely tolerable now, but
on an already slow machine (1.4Ghz) with limited memory (currently 256MB),
the additional overhead is not helpful.... :(

Any tips are welcome.

Thanks,
