Hell, given the size of the product, I think it's a dumb idea to require building the indexes in the first place. They should be installed intact in the primary product folders as part of the installation (and then shared among the workspaces). But I'm not at the point of mentioning that stuff as defects. I'm still trying to get a situation resolved where I installed and uninstalled WDSC and then installed WDSC AE and the system can now not update itself. IBM's response has been to uninstall and reinstall WDSC AE, but that's not acceptable. I did get one rather creative alternative, though. "Install a new version in a different location, copy your workspaces over, and then uninstall the old version." Ah, I get it! Since uninstall and reinstall is unacceptable, instead try reinstall and uninstall! <grumpf> So, anyway, as far as I'm concerned there are much bigger issues to address right now than problems with the help mechanism.
