Never mind. As I read this message after it posted I realized what you really meant. Right clicking on the file object instead of the source works just like you said. Nice tip. If you have refresh cache not selected, then you would not see the new field. However, the easiest way to update your cache in this case, should be to 1) find your new file in the RSE (drill down, create a filter, whatever your preference) 2) right click and select the Cache File Description from the popup menu Hope this helps.
