Is 5.0 to 5.1 going to be like going from 4.0 to 5.0?  That wasn't the best
experience, and I followed the install docs pretty closely.  I ended up
re-doing most of my system connections and preferences.

Hi Mark, the update manager  will not support  installation  of a new
release it will be a full new install, I just made the comment because of
Sam's note that the install of the 5.0.1 fix was very complicated, future
fixes will be easier to apply.
The Electronic delivery is for Passport Advantage customers only, these are
customers that order WDSC as a workstation product not as part of WDS. This
is nothing new it has been available in the previous releases as well, it
is a feature of Passport Advantage.

I agree with you that we should try to deliver more smaller fixes faster to
you, but we also have to juggle resources that are required to test these
fixes and check for regression that might occur.

Actually we will have one fix coming out soon, it will cover the save
problems with source members before a compile gets started that some of you
experienced, and a  fix for Search

Unfortunately the Outline view fix will not be in there because we have
some other dependencies, this will be fixed in 5.1.
